Playing Farkel, listening to music, reading, watching tv, that was pretty much what I spend the day with, except of cause having a birthday party for my host-sister at the bowling ally, and going grocery-shopping with my hostdad!!
Let's start with the grocery-shopping, that's always an experience here in America! All of those very funny things they have! Cupcakes with Spongebob Squarepants, or flip-flops on em. Or a thousand different frozen dishes, ready to put right into the microwave. The giant backs of cheese balls - cause that's just what everybody needs!?
We got some deep fried sausages on sticks and some pop-tarts for me to try out - now that I'm here, I better try it all, or at least the part of it that doesn't look like I'm gonna get sick just by smelling it!
Also we got some B&J, cause I just never get tired of it, specially over here, with 50 different flavors, for only $3.25.
Then there was the birthday-party. Yulia had invited her cousins, her friends Arianna and Tammi's kids out to the bowling ally, for bowling and pizza - and of cause that German chocolate-cake...I asked my hostdad what it was that made it German, he answered that it was the text outside of the box. Haha
Also here's a picture of a blue heron we saw on our way to the birthday, that was pretty cool!
