So here's what I've been up to lately:
I ordered a new lens for my camera, and it came home yesterday, it's amazing! A 75-300 Canon lens, just like the one I wanted, and I LOVE it!!
I can't wait to go use it, hopefully taking thousands and thousands of pictures.
What also happened yesterday was, that I baked ''Sukkerkringler'' for my wonderful hostfamily! Sukkerkringler is a Danish kind of cake, the dough reminds a little bit of bread, or at least, that's the kind I think of when I say Sukkerkringler, but here's what happened. I found a recipe on google, and I followed that, but when the cakes were done, they were more like cookies, which weren't right...
My hostfamily seemed to love them though, so that's good, and I'll just bake the right ones another time!
During baking time, I went through the kitchen to find some of the things I needed, and you'll never guess what I found! -Well the title kinda says it all, specially now when I already told you about my new lens and the Sukkerkringler.
Anyway, it was Jell-o! I never had that, and my sister talks about it all the time back home in Denmark. I told my hostparents that, and they said that we should make some of it. So Yulia and I made chocolate Jell-o for dessert. It was good, though I didn't really like the consistency.
Tomorrow is Portland! We're going on a Duck-tour and we're going shopping. I gotta find a birthday present for Gayle! But shh, that's a secret!
