The American School Experience

First day of school!
OMG I had a great day! At least when I was actually in school.
My first school day was a Wednesday, which means ''late-start'' or 08.40, but it's still an hour more that usual!
First I had advisory, and because it was the first day, advisory was for a half an hour. We're about 15 students in my advisory class, all seniors. They all seem very nice. I have chorus with two of them.
At first people didn't really seem to notice me, but after a while, the two girls in front of me turned around and started talking to me!
Then we went down to the auditorium. Funny thing about that. The school has a tradition that when ever we go to the auditorium, Seniors are the last ones to enter and the first ones to leave. And when we do, everybody has to stand up while the senior song is playing! Love it!

The vice-principal gave some information, and then he called the exchange-students to the stage. -no no no!!
There're three of us, a German dude, and Italian girl and me. He introduced us, people clapped and we went back down to our seeds!

After the auditorium I had Rock Ensemble. The schedule was backwards on the first day, don't really get why?
Anyway, we're only three people taking Rock Ensemble -THREE PEOPLE!! But it was still kinda fun. Me and the two guys taking it, had to write down some artists we like, and tomorrow (Friday) we'll start playing.

After band I had Chorus, and in this class we're about 50 students! I just sat down some where, but this girl came over and told me to come and sit with her - victory! That was really nice!!!
Chorus was a lot of fun!! We always start with dancing, the warm-ups and then we sing. I think that's gonna be a great class!

US History and Geometry was kinda boring, and Geometry wasn't very pleasant, so I'm gonna change that one. But I would say my first school day was good.
Until I came home, then it all just became to much, and I had a terrible night, feeling very homesick.
Today I felt terrible all morning, but I did get up and went to school. I only made it through one class though, then I went to talk to my student counselor, who then sent me to the school nurse, who let me go home. I had a terrible day, and I really just wanted to go back home to Denmark.

But I had a piano lesson with Kathleen at 16.00, so I went to that, and that was just great!! I felt a lot better after playing, and talking to her, so I think I can go through tomorrow. I hope so!
I'm just really looking forward to the weekend!
