Lightning From A Blue Sky

So where to begin!? Today was a....confusing day!

I'll start with last night!
So last night the school had a bon-fire - which is a thing where students meet, they light on a fire, and the sports-teams each do a dance. It was at seven, but since no one was home at that time, I kinda forgot about it...until Jeff -from my Rock Ensemble class- texted me and asked where I was. I had to tell him that I was still home, but then he just replied that he would come and pick me up. So he went towards West Bath, thinking he knew where I lived, turned out he didn't. So I gave him directions and he took me to the fire, but just a we got there, the teachers announced that it was time to go home. So Jeff drove me back. haha
At least I can say that I was there! And I did kinda have a good time!

That leads me to today:
I got up, had breakfast, got dressed, went to school, you know - the usual!
I had Advisory and Art, and after a brief talk with my History teacher, I went to see my Guidance Counselor -Mrs. Trundy- cause she called my contact-person -N- yesterday. We talked and she gave me a summary of what she and N had been talking about. Among other things, N had told her, that if I wanted to stay in Bath, it was my job to find a hostfamily, which is the exact opposite of what I was told! Also N told me that she had already tried every opportunity to find a Bath-family for me....!?
So I called my parents, talked to Mrs. Trundy again, and then they talked together, and we all wrote a mail to the EF Boston office. I really hope that it will help, and that we can stand by the Conway family, so that I'll have some time to see if I can find a family in Bath - cause apparently, that has NOT been done!

So when I got out of school and headed to Kathleen's for piano-lessons, I was a little mad, a little sad, very confused and my head was kind of spinning. But as always K was amazing, we talked played some piano. We even played some duets today.
The Maple Leaf Rag, Canon in D, and a Danish one - the wedding waltz. Or Bryllups valsen, to say it in Danish. Duets are always a lot of fun, and K is great, so talented! I had a blast!
-And feeling a lot better when I went home.

Tomorrow I have the day of, Monday to, which means loooong weekend! And Saturday is Homecoming - Which I'm really excited for!
And I almost forgot, there was a Pit-rally today -or as I thought it was called: the Pet-rally. It's a thing where the entire school get's together around the Pit, and then some of the students compete in different things, such as Pie-eating and kicking a football. It was a lot of fun - and of cause the Seniors won!
