Last Night in America!

I had an awesome night last night!
I wanna start with the best part!

I went out to dinner, at Fish Bones i Lewiston, with Kathleen and Derek. I had a blast!
Kathleen picked me up at five, and took me to the house from where we took this beautiful old Lincoln car to the restaurant. Let's stop at the car for a bit - it is amazing, so cool! Driving in it was like wow! You could smell the leather and Derek put on some blues music which was just the cherry on the ice cream!
They took me by their childhood houses, which was fun to get to see.
We got to the restaurant which were located in an old mill building in Lewiston. It was a very nice place, in the style of a Spanish tapas restaurant. There was a lot of people, and we got a table in a corner.

We ordered lobster rangoons and jumbo sea scallops for appetizers and I had a grilled Maine salmon with couscous for entree, it was all really good! I also got to try a bit of haddock, which was interesting! Reminded me of a Danish white fish which name I have to look up! I'm still not very fond of scallops, but it was definitively a lot better this time than the first time I had them!

We talked about cheese, and sailing and more cheese! It was hilarious! I had such a great night!
They took me home - again in the Lincoln, gotta love that! - and dropped me of on Washington Street.

Mari and Dan were also out for the night, and wasn't home when I got there, so I got to meet the new babysitter. Not for long though, cause they came home almost right after me. Turned out that they had invited some people over, so we got guests at 11.30 or so in the night. I had been up since 5.30 -well 2.00 am, cause the baby woke up during the night - so I was kinda tired! But I got to meet some new people, and that was a lot of fun! We discussed policy and government and they many differences between Denmark and America, which is always interesting -and from time to time a lot of fun! Specially with my great friends out in West Bath!
Anyway, we talked for a while, they got slightly tipsy I would say, smoked some very fancy cigarettes???
And half of them went home, then Alden woke up, and Mari went up to him. I stayed down for a while, but when it got 1.30 am I was so tired, and decided to call it a day - A very long day!

Picture taken at six something am in the morning at the Early Birds Sale!

Which was another thing that happened yesterday, and the reason that my alarm-clock rang at 5.30. There was an ''Early Birds Sale'' downtown. The idea is that the earlier you get down there, the higher percentage you get on discount. Mari and I went down there from the start, at 6.00 am. Oh My God! It was still dark outside, it was freezing, and I was very tired!
It was fun though! I didn't by anything, but seeing all of those people in the early morning, shopping eating donuts and drinking coffee! I think I prefer the Danish ''Late Nights'' in stead!
