Christmas Vacation

The last day before Christmas Vacation was quite an experience here in the States.
We did SQUAD!

Mrs. Nichols brought Donuts for everybody in advisory, but in the our class, where we're usually 15 people or so, we were only 5 showing up - one getting late - and even though the students who actually felt like eating 1 million grams of sugar at 7.40 in the morning rounded up and had two, Mrs. Nichols still had donuts enough for her first period class.
That was pretty much how the entire day went. There were nobody there, and the few people who actually bothered to show up, all brought candy or Christmas Cookies.
So I watched the last ten minutes of ''The Grinch'' the first half of ''A Christmas Carol', did a Christmas Words Search Puzzle, had three Candy Canes, four cookies, and were offered two donuts, a cup of hot chocolate, a cupcake, a piece of cake - with some very poison-looking frosting on top - and another -oh I don't know- 1,000 cookies or so, before the school day was over? Oh my Word!
All of that gym-time in the morning just flew right out my window! As if it being Christmas was crazy enough, it's also America! -Oh well, I'm getting the full experience!

This afternoon Dan and Mari had a Company-Christmas-Party, so I watched the boys - FUN, FUN, FUN!
Alden and I had a minor discussion about which one of us is more awesome, all I'll say is, I wasn't the one cheering for me, and he wouldn't let me win the argument! Awww!
Gavin and I sang ''Black Bird'' and ''Elefantens Vuggevise'' and ''Stand by Me'' and ''Twinkle Twinkle'' at bed time, and he was the cutest little thing just lying in his crib holding my hand.

I also got a present from home.
Getting mail - and specially presents - from home -or anywhere else- is just awesome....until you notice that little spot of blue ink saying ''Må først åbnes den 25.!'' and then a little heart... -For all you non-Danish readers, ''Må først åbnes den 25.!'' just means ''Do not open until the 25th''....hmm, not much to do about it, I'll just have to wait, but it's okay, time will fly, cause tomorrow I'm going over to the Dudzics!
-AWESOME WAY TO KICK OF MY AMERICAN CHRISTMAS VACATION!
