Driving around in America -Yes Driving! Please, it's Maine! - on a December night is amazing! It's a Winter Wonderland! Lights everywhere, Santas, Snowmen, Reindeers, colored ligths, red lights, white lights! It's a great start on Christmas!
On Saturday night -as you might remember- I went out to dinner with Kathleen and Derek. We went to this place called Zapoteca in Portland, a Mexican restaurant, and it was really good! Food, company, everything!
After we were done, we went to the Portland mall, where I got a Christmas present for Mari, one less to go! We also went to this little shop called Spencer. Very weird place! Funny hats, mugs, slippers, t-shirts, and teeth for babies, which Derek found hilarious! Him and Kathleen laughing because of the teeth were the funniest thing in the shop!
Yesterday we went out to get our Christmas tree with Ben, Jill and Sierra. We drove to a tree-farm walked around for quite a while, found a tree, Dan and I cut it down, and carried it back to the car!
Then we went to Ben and Jill's for lunch, before we headed back home, so that we could all take a nap!
Today I went downtown with Hannah and Zhou to get some more Christmas-presents done...didn't go very well... But I did get some Christmas-cards send -as many as I had stamps for- and we went to Dots Icecream which was fun!
