Five Day Weekend!

I woke up at 6.30 on Thursday, they had told us the day before, that we might get a snowday, so first thing I did when I got out of bed was to look outside the window, unfortunately there were no snow outside, so I started getting ready, getting clothes on and packing my bag for school, when I was ready to go downstairs, Mari yelled from the bedroom ''You know there's no school today, right?'' I looked outside the window, ''Are you kidding me!?'' As I said, there was NO snow outside, but she just replied that she had gotten a call from the principal, we had a snowday. Now I still didn't really know weather or not to believe that, so I went online to check, but couldn't see anything about it anywhere! Then I texted Zhou, and when she replied that she had gotten the same message, I crawled back into bed. 

It was probably for the best with the snowday, cause when Derek picked me up for our Danish Dinner it had been snowing all day long, and we had gotten a couple of inches! 

For Danish dinner we were having False Gordon Bleu with bean salad and Oatmeal balls (Havregrynskugler) for dessert.

Yesterday was also a day of from school, so I had a very relaxing day! Alden and I build a snowman - named  him Frostie - and made hot chocolate. 


Then Dan, Mari and I went out to meet Shane and Kari for a drink and then dinner, it was very nice!

Today...Dan is sick and stayed in bed, Mari and I took the boys downtown, we went to Café Créme and got a cookie. Came back home and took a nap! Awesome!
Tonight I'm going over to the Dudzic's. We're going out to dinner and then I'm spending the night. I'm looking forward to that!


Also I have Monday of, cause it's Martin Luther King Day, you're not gonna hear any complaings from me!
