Just today I was referred to as Mommy three times while being downtown. People coming over to me telling me that ''My kids are adorable" and "I'm so lucky to be mom to two such cuties" or just randomly starting a conversation, which by the way is great, but still a little weird to me.
And how come sister, or babysitter, or maybe cousin, doesn't jump up before Mother, when someone sees a teenager with two kids?
So anyway, that was what we did today - went downtown. We went to the Library and then to the coffee shop, and then Dan, Mari and I went out to lunch, to a little Sushi-place in Brunswick -Yummy!
Then we dropped Dan of at work and Mari and I walked around downtown for a while. When we came home the boys helped me bake a chocolate cake, which was fun as long at they got to lick the spoons with the chocolate-stuff on it.
Yesterday was a great day. At first I had the house to myself for a couple of hours, which was nice cause I got to play the piano undisturbed - Nice. Then in the afternoon Kathleen picked me up and we had dinner. Homemade pizza and great company - Doesn't get much better than that!
