Saint Patrick's Day Weekend

I had a long weekend, it was great! No school on Friday, I have no idea why, but I'm sure those smart American-School people had a reason, and who am I to complain?

Friday Dan didn't have work either, so we started the day with cleaning the house. Then Dan took me and Alden to Best Buy, to Target and to his office, to play with cars.
Friday night Project Graduation had hired a hypnotist to do a show as a fundraiser. It was pretty funny. He had about 20 people volunteer to get hypnotized, all at once. He told them they were on a plane to Hawaii and there was gonna be a talent show down there. On the plain they watched a horror movie and a comedy, and one girl laughed so hard she practically jumped of her chair, hitting herself on the legs. Another girl, for the talent show, wrestled with an ''alligator''. It was just an air one, that kind you blow up an bring in the pool, but she jumped right on it and rolled around with it a couple of times. It was very entertaining, though a little hard to believe.

Saturday was Saint Patricks day, and they have a Saint Patricks Day Parade in Bath, this year Mari was a part of it, so we put Gavin and Sadie in the stroller and went downtown to watch it. It wasn't a very big parade but it was fun. There was a few jeeps, a leprechaun, a small marching band, some dancers and politics people.
We walked home had an early dinner and Dan and Mari went to a fundraiser.

Today while the boys were a church Dan, Mari and I walked downtown for coffee and to look at sneakers at Reny's.
The weather was amazing! When we came home we all went outside, when Gaga brought the boys back we sat on the porch while talking, and when Kirsti and Zach came by we had lunch outside as well. Then Mari and I biked to a softball field to meet Niesa, Kirsti and Zach there. Since tryouts are in a week, and still have no idea what I'm doing, and can barely hit the ball - which is hard as a rock if I may say so, all you Danes can forget about Rundbold and tennisball, this is the real deal -, and Niesa has been playing for years, Mari suggested that she could help me out. She had a machine that pitched for you, so I got to practice batting even though we didn't have a real pitcher, -and I doubt it's anything like this, cause this was very slow, and the ball went right in the air, and not towards me like it actually does, but it was okay for now - I got to try and catch - with my new glove, which is awful, I'd rather do it without, it's much easier! - and we practiced throwing. Niesa also told me a lot of rules and stuff, which I've forgotten half of already, but still.
It was a ton of fun, and I'm really excited for tryouts now.

I have a couple of exciting weeks coming up, Kathleen and Derek came home yesterday, so I'm going there on Tuesday, there's a Dodgeball-tournament on the school Wednesday, I'm gonna play. Thursday night Mari and I are taking a guitar class, Friday is ''So you think you know Bath", which is a quiz-show about Bath. Monday is Softball tryouts, and the Saturday after that, Mari and I are leaving for Baltimore.
It all sounds pretty good to me!
