I've had a great week so far!
Tuesday I had my first softball game, and it was so much fun! I'm playing Left Field, is great, cause it seems very confusing, whatever they're doing in the infield. I got to do some batting I ran, I got all the way to third before they tagged me out, and then all the bases were loaded - which meant I had to run - this girl came running towards me with the ball, and I just took of. Didn't know that you can't do that, apparently you have to stay within three feet of the line between the bases.
But it was a lot of fun. We were all eaten sun flower seeds - hole, chewing the shell of and then spitting them out. - cheering for each other, being a team. I love it!
Wednesday I went on a field trip to Boston. It was with the arts program at school, and selected Juniors who are a part of the program, and then me and Max.
At first we got to choose between three colleges - Berklee College of Music, MassArt, or Emerson - I went to Berklee. We had to students giving us a tour, one playing percussion, and one singing, both majoring in film score. It was a lot fun seeing the college, the studios and so on. It was like their own little city.
After the tour we went to the Arts Museum, and got a tour there, and then we went to the science museum, here we saw butterflies, geckoes and got to try all kinds of scientific stuff.
Then we went to Quincy market, where we had about two hours to get some dinner, walk around, do some shopping, whatever we wanted to do really.
I walked with Sadia and Sydney, and we got some Japanese food, an Cookie and then we sat watching a guy playing drums on pots, pans and buckets, it was pretty impressive.
The bus then picked us up, and took us to a theater, we were going to see a concert with The Blue Man Group. You should really check them out it was pretty amazing, here's to give you an idea:
They had paint on their drums, giant Iphones, tons of toiletpaper, we all had ponchoes on on the first rows, because they threw water, paint and marshmellows. It was a lot of fun!
We got back home at 1.30 am and I was so tired, but I'd had a great time!
