Visit in Massachusetts

So it's monday again, ugh....but I can manage to get through another week early mornings and tests and homework, because we only have four days of school, only one more week before the Dudzics come back, and I'm all loaded up after a pretty nice weekend. Let's review, shall we?

Friday I took the bus with Zhou and Sara after school. We went to Zhou's house in Woolwich where I were to sleep over. We did a little homework, ate some ice cream - Reece peanut-butter cup ice cream, it was gooood - and managed to look extremely ridiculous while playing wii. It was fun though. When Zhou's hostparents came home we all started cooking. Rice, tofu, pork, broccoli, romaine lettuce, peppers, more tofu...I can't even remember all the stuff, there was so much of it! And it was really good. For dessert, more ice cream. Then we made origami, mostly stars and hearts, and then Sara went home Zhou and I went to bed, read a little, had some more ice cream, and went to bed.

Saturday we got up at 5.00! 5.00 I tell ya, on a Saturday. We were to get on the bus in Portland at 7.30, we were there an hour before... On the bus down there they showed a movie called Michael. It was okay.
When we got to Boston it was snowing, and freezing! And all the stores were closed...so we walked around untill they opened, then went into a couple of them, before we headed towards Quincy Market. We did a little shopping, and then went down to the harbor.
Time for lunch, and we walked around the city for over an hour, to find a Mexican restaurant, I was so hungry, and super tired, when we finally found a Subway look-a-like mexican restaurant, I did't really care, just happy that we could finally sit down for a bit. We ate and by two a clock went back to the bus station. I got home around six, and Dan and I watched Contagion after the boys went to bed. It was confusing, and weird, and I think I would have preferred to read my book, but oh well.

Sunday I did some homework, read, went outside, read, did some stuff in the garden, sat on the porch with Dan and Mari while watching the boys play, read, went to Sara's house for Japanese food - Very yummy! -, read, slept, monday.

Candy Turkeys!

Busy two days I've had!
Yesterday was Thursday = dinner with Kathleen and Derek. Kathleen made Mac & Cheese, of which I was a little suspicious, cause last time I had it, it was the Kraft kind, out of a box - NOT GOOD!
But this homemade stuff was really good!!
And for desert: Key Lime Pie! I am really loving these American pies! They're the best! Well I've only had Apple pie and Key Lime pie, but so far that's a 100% success rate!

Anyway, Kathleen drove me home, I went to bed, and didn't sleep. Because, today I had to do one of the most scary things I have ever done! The Rock Ensemble was preforming, and I had to sing in front of the entire school, and I didn't even know the lyrics.
I was so frightened, but it went somehow okay, I hope people didn't notice that I messed up and sang the half of the first vers again instead of the second vers....? And afterwards we played Freebird, which was just SO awesome, except we had to cut out my piano-solo, because you couldn't hear it... But it was okay, it was fun because everybody at the school got so excited and stood up and was clapping and whooing and stuff like that! And the rest of the day when I walked down the hall, people would come over to me and tell me how much we rocked! Haha

After school I went downtown with Dori and Jeff to get Ice Cream at Dott's - for the first time ever! People keep asking me how I have lived in Bath for three months without going to Dott's?
And I really don't know, I've survived just fine with Ben and Jerry's!

This night I went over to Zhou's house for dinner, and it was nice! After we ate, we made little candy turkeys - you know how Thanksgiving is next week, and therefor the turkeys - it was a lot of fun!
