Halloween, Candy Night!
As you might have guessed, tonight was Halloween, and it was crazy! It started already in school, where Mrs. Nichols -My advisory teacher- brought us donuts. People were dressed up, and when I walked home from school, all the houses on my way was decorated with ghosts, pumpkins, spiders and dead guys.
So I got home, and Alden had a dinosaur on his forehead, which he had gotten painted on in preschool. Mari had bought a ton of candy, and the boys were really excited about going trick and treating!
So after dinner, we got dressed up - Me as a pirate, Gavin as Spiderman, and Alden as a Pirate-Donald Duck!
And then we went Trick or Treating.
It was crazy! There were hundreds of kids on our street. It was a lot of fun walking with Alden though. ''I'm a pirate Donald Duck!'' ''Trick or Treeeeeat!''
We did half a street, and then headen back, where Mari were handing out candy! Which was even more funny! I saw an Airplane, a bunch of Zombies, Princesses, a Cow, the lost sock in the laudry, and so many others! We counted and in two hours we had 176 kids coming by. It was pretty crazy! Dan and Mari had a smoke-machine out and that was kinda cool! The pumpkins were turned on and the big spiders were still hanging outside looking really gross!
And before I end for this scary night, I thought you should get to see my costume for my first Halloween party last Saturday!
I was a twin-Red Sox fan with Niesa!

Busy Week!
Such a busy week! It's been great though, let's take a look shall we?
First of all I've had a bunch of homework to do, it's been freaking cold outside, and I've had nothing to wear, but more on that later!
I've been occupied pretty much every day this week, which have been great!
Monday I had an singing audition for the District 3 choir. It did NOT go as I wanted it to, but I have no idea how strict they are on who get's in or not, so I don't know weather or not I made it, and we have to wait about a month before we get to know!
Tuesday I went over to Kathleen and Derek after school, and we played our duets - Kathleen and me of cause, though it would probably be a lot of fun to get Derek joining us? - and then we talked about Danish food. Specially the dish ''Buried Dogs'', whichh is mashed potatoes and hamburger mixed together, I think? We looked it up, but couldn't find any pictures or recipes at all...?
Wednesday Mari took me and Niesa (Mari's niece) on shopping, cause I needed a pair of boots - all I had was sailer shoes, flip flops and sandals. We went to something coat factory and the Portland Mall, but I didn't find any boots! What I did find though, was some new clothes and a wind jacket!
Thursday was a great day! It was a Blue day, which means Chorus and Rock Ensemble, and it was also a half day, so I got out of school at 11.00 am. I got on the bus, and headed towards West Bath, cause Kathleen, Derek and I was having Danish dinner. And Kathleen had made Danish Rye-bread, so we were also having ''Open Sandwiches'' or Smørrebrød for lunch.
When I got there, Derek wasn't home yet though, so Kathleen introduced me to something Hollywood?? So know I know everything worth knowing about Hollywood? Like who Snooki is, and that Justin Bieber is dating a brown-haired girl - which is very important you know, if a guy holds a gun to my head and asks me question about that!
Anyway Derek came home, and we made our Smørrebrød! Gosh I've missed Danish Rye-bread, it was sooo good!
We eat and then we started cooking - Lemon Mousse or Citron Fromage, as we call it in DK. It took two tries, but we did it!
Sat down for a bit, and then we made tartelets with chicken and asparagus! I don't think that needs a translation!
It was really good! Both the Tartelets and the Lemon Mousse, and it sounded like K and D agreed with me on that!
-Danish food is the best! Good thing that I have friends over here who wants to cook some of it with me so that I don't miss it to much!
Friday my Ipad came, and also, I was still missing a pair of boots, so Mari took me to Brunswick, and in Famous Footwear I found a pair, and they are so nice and warm! And that was just in time, cause now it's snowing!
When we got back, there was a Trick or Trumb walk downtown. So Alden dressed up and we down there with him, and we meet Gavin there.
Friday night Hannah was babysitting, and it was a lot of fun! And when Dan and Mari came home, we decided to go to the Halloween dance at the school, cause it was only a little after nine. But when we got there, there was like no one left, and the lights were on, didn't look where Halloween-like. So we just went back.
Today I've been carving out pumpkins! Mine is a witch, and Gavins and Aldens has scary faces! It was a lot of fun!
