Marshmellow-Fluff

What a day!!

I had what was definitely one of the best days here in the States so far!
First I went to the Ides, which is always a lot of fun! We talked, listened to music, looked through exchange students and laughed - a lot!

Then we went to Dunkin Donuts, cause Maddi needed to get her coffee! Here we meet Vinny ''the Dunkin Dude!''

Me and Vinny!

Me, Faith, Kayla and Maddi at Dunkin D's!

This was my first visit at Dunkin Donuts, it was a lot of fun! I had a ''small ice-coffee with regular cream and extra hazelnut'' - ordering coffee at DD is complicated!
After we came back to the house, we got lunch ready! Kayla had planned a picnic, so the girls made some wraps with chicken-salad, packed them, and then we took of.
We went to the Duck-pond at Bates to have lunch, and after that -on our way back home- we went to the church. There was a piano in there, no need to say that I had to play! It was a little rusty though, since i haven't played for real for about a month!

When we got back Maddi had to go, so while Kayla was going through my Ipod, Faith and I watched Glee, and then all of the sudden, Gayle was there to pick me up!

She took me to Tammi's camp, where Tammi and half of her kids were - Alexandra, Noah, Gabe, Wahiet, Gracie, Roselin and Matt.
They took me tubing, and it was some of the most fun I've had in a long time! I so wanna do that again!! Tammi promised I could, and I am so gonna keep her to that promise!

When we got in from tubing we had Raman Noodles and S'Mores, and that was just the perfect ending on a perfect day!

Ohh, and I totally forgot to tell you about the Marshmallow-Fluff! Haha
That's one of the weirdest things I've ever seen - Marshmallow on a jar! They use it on sandwiches... America is crazy!

Diving in the Lake!

So today we went to Tammi's camp, and I had a blast!

Tammi is one of Gayle and Joel's friends. She and her husband have 10 kids, plus they're foster-parents for a girl and her daughter. So they alone are a lot of people, and besides them, Jeremy and Kirsti and their kids were there to, and some of Tammi's friends and their daughter and her friend. So today we were almost 30 people I think, gathered around the campfire in the middle of the Maine woods.

When we got there all of the kids jumped into the water immediately, and so did the dog Oakley. I went down to the bridge, but the water was all dark, and it was impossible to see the bottom of the lake, which were about 7 feet deep. So I went back in to help with the lunch - burgers and chili. After we eat, Tammi told me to try out a S'more. That is a traditionally American camping dessert. But since I had already tried the state treat - a Woopie pie - which I didn't really like, I was kinda suspicious!

Let me explain! A S'more is a grilled marshmallow in a graham-cracker sandwich with a piece of milky-chocolate.
It was great!! I absolutely loved it! Probably not the most healthy snack though.

After a couple of S'mores I went out on the bridge again, this time to jump in, and the water was actually lovely! Joel assured me that there were no sharks or giant fishes coming from the deep. haha

I had a great day,and Tammi told us that we had to get back when the boat got into the water, so that I could try tubing!
