Pumkin Boats and Coconut-Macaroons

Long weekend - I love it!

We had Friday of -no idea why, and Monday is Columbus-day, so we get that of to! Wonderful.
Friday I started packing, you know, getting ready for moving, and in the afternoon Mrs. Trundy came to pick me up. She had found me a possible hostfamily IN BATH! So we went out to visit them.
Dan and Mari Eosco, they have two little sons, a dog, a cat, they live in a big house and I get my own bathroom. They seemed very nice, and they said that they would like to host me, so Mrs. Trundy said she would call N and make sure they got in touch. -So far so good!
Then N called me, and told me that hopefully I would be moving on Monday. I'm still not sure whereto...and today (Sunday) I haven't been able to get a hold of Nicki. I'm crossing my fingers for the Eosco's.
Staying in Bath would mean staying at Morse, with all the wonderful people I've meet there, and keep taking piano-lessons with Kathleen!

Saturday was homecoming-day!

Haha. I was SO excited! getting all dressed up and wearing fancy dresses. The dance wasn't untill seven o'clock though, so I spend my day outside! The weather was simply amazing! To hot to stay inside!
Around five I got dressed, packed my make-up and then I went over to Dori's where we were getting ready.
When I got there it was only Dana, Dori and me, but pretty soon Leigh came over, and then Courtney came to. Leigh straitened my hair, we all did our make-up and so on! That hole thing was the best part of the entire night!

The dance itself was actually quite boring. We were running late, but when we finally got there, the first half an hour, people was just standing there, talking. Then they started dancing, which is one of the weirdest things I've ever seen. No one moved their feets, they just moved their hips from side to side, that was it!?
I know, people are usually slightly tipsy at parties in Denmark, but that does make their dancing a lot more fun to watch and be a part of! It felt very awkward dancing this way, but I guess that's a part of the American experience?
Finally it turned ten -another funny thing about America, in DK parties don't start until after ten- and Gayle picked me up. Back home and in bed, cause we were getting up early the next day.

Cause....Sunday there was a Pumpkin-Fest in Damariscotta. That was a lot of fun! At first we were watching people sailing in these huge pumpkins! And then we walked up and down the streets to looked at a bunch of beautiful decorated pumpkins.

When we got home, I packed the last of my stuff, seemes like my suitcase has shrinked - When I got here I had with me: a Suitcase, My camera-bag and my EF-bag, now I need all of those three plus my school-bag, a Morse-bag and two plastic bags! Anyway, now I'm all packed, and ready if it turns out that I'm leaving tomorrow - where ever I might be going!?

After packing I went for a walk, cause again today, the weather was great, and I felt like taking some pictures! Enjoy!
