Drizzle in the Woods

Put on my jacket -not the leather one, but the one with all the buttons- and went for a walk. It was drizzling, and the sky was grey. I had a tough night. 


The Red Sox lost yesterday. They're out. Yesterday there was still hope, today it's gone. I guess that's just how life goes sometimes, dreams get broken. Sometimes you win, sometimes you loose. 
Of cause I can still watch baseball, but it's not gonna be the same, it's not gonna be the Red Sox. And unfortunately the place I wanna get a hot-dog this October is the only place you can't..
But life goes on, and luckily I'm gonna be here in the spring, when a new season is coming up!

A Rainy Day

It rained today, but it didn't really matter, cause I had a lot of things to do!!

First Allary and Mara came buy and we played Skib-Bo for about two hours, it was a lot of fun! After that I wrote 4 letters for some of my friends back home, I wanted to write a lot more for a lot of people, but my hand hurt when I finished the 4th, so I thought that the rest would have to wait for a while...

The Joel came home, and he, Yulia and I went to the library and then to the candy-shop where I found DANISH CANDY!!!

When we came back home, I got the cake in the oven. 

I didn't tell you about the cake yet, did I? Let me do that! Before I wrote the letters I made a dough for a ''Cakeman'', which is a Danish cake, usually for kids' birthdays. I promised Yulia I would bake one for her, since it's her birthday tomorrow! 

After dinner, when the cake had cooled down, I made some icing and took out all of the candy!

Once I stopped eating the candy, I started decorating the cake with it, which was the actual idea...

I think the result was pretty good (or not), but I had so much fun doing it! I just hope that the cake taste good! -Though I doubt it, with all that poison-looking candy - hehe
